注1:yellow submarine一词是Beatles在60年代的名曲,此处有无吸食药物神游恍惚的意思我并不确定,反正当时Noel常常吸毒创作就对了,这首Supersonic谈的也是关於毒品的经验吧!
注2: Alka Seltzer是一种伤风、流行性感冒、过敏治疗药, 有些人将它拿来当毒品吸食
注3: “Big Issue”是英国慈善机构专为无业游民所成立的一份杂志,内容五花八门,无业游民向此机构登记後,可以拿这份杂志在街上叫卖,收入所得作为慈善机构运用,部份所得成为自己微薄的收入
许多外国绿洲乐迷留言都说SUPERSONIC歌词让人搞不清Noel要说的意义,但这首是乐史上最棒的乐团处女作之一,无损它的份量与艺术性 ,所以连英国人即使都看不太懂,那我们都看的一头雾水了也是情有可原了
