david: no matter what you're going through, i want you to know that God loves you, and that we love you, too. although i'm not part of the music production business, i know what you mean when you say it's difficult. times have changed, and as you say, there has to be a certain amount of experience, learning, and stories to tell before something is produced. you've been so good handling all this change. i'm so proud of you!

chinese pop music disappoints me these days as well. although there are many artists of which people view as 'talented', i think otherwise. it seems like all of it is just on the surface, something that doesn't last. i mean, think about it- seems like everything comes and goes. it's all become a trend that people follow.

that's what i like about you. you're not like that- you're different, in a beyond awesome way. i admire your talent and ability to be completely original, and that, itself, is already a difference in the world today.

I was very excited when I see the letter from David .I was deeply touched by what David said.I am the fan of David in wuhan ,just these days I knew that David will come here -wuhan ,I was very happy about it.Today I took part in the activity of 105.8HZ chutian music radio set,I was lucky that I gain a ticket of 9.26. the music gathering in wuhan --Sprite music journey.I got it ,really,I was terribly and extremely excited.I will wait for this day to approach.

I was a English major student ,I hope one day I can directly communicate and chat with David through the Internet.

Last year in November David had alreday come to wuhan ,I had also attend the fan's music gathering .Remember that David was ill that day ,but he sticked to sing the songs for us .Seeing his gaunt look ,my eyes were brimmed with tears.I was in deed moved by him and his music .What David said in the letter"Reset to zero,I believe that if one is not able to complete this process and cycle then one will not move forward or grow in that stage of life,there is no ‘solution’ except to be true to yourself and be yourself,that it will be done when it’s done." is wonderful and true. I BELEIEVE forever.

"It will be an imprint of my life, mind, heart and soul.still be a David Tao album at the core."Yes,that indeed,God knows!I and all the true fans will support for your forever.Believe us !!!

By the way ,make good music is very important,but at the same time your health is vital too!Take care,dear David!

i think most of us understand. you are not the sort of people who change just for change’s sake.
you do music with heart. so we listen to your music with heart.
i believe those who listen with heart can understand your music, even if they are not so good at expressing as you do. also, they can understand that you're changing and growing.
as you know, the reason why we love you is that we love your music, but that's not the whole. we adore your gift, and the way you use it.
we know you express your mind in your music. we listen to it, and then we konw about your mind. it is a way in which we communicate.

看見"陶喆第二封来信(04.8.24)"這標題時,先是驚訝一聲,之後就走出所坐的位置,踱來踱去好幾次,也不敢立即看此信息.原因是我不敢相信在這麼短的時間裡有兩次的"大驚喜".
平靜了後才看........真要謝謝版主給我們的翻釋,這次要比第一封難看得明白.

David,完成了一個創作動作,要再做另一次是很難的.我需沒有這類經驗,但我能明白多少.
之前的專輯已有自己的生命,讓別人感受他吧!不需為有人喜歡當中東西,而影響之後創作.
一直很有信心地等待第四張來臨,也不會催促你.因為知道好東西是要付出時間.慢慢來吧! :)
