两位曾经相爱过的昔日恋人又邂逅了，男人对女人说，本来我可以娶国王的女儿，只因为对你的爱，我舍弃了她的皇冠，现在离开你的木匠吧，跟我去乡间海边。女人留下了孩子离开了木匠，随着恋人而去。在海中的船上他们呆了不到三周时，女人想起孩子开始悲叹忧伤的哭泣与诅咒，女人说报应啊报应。不到第四周，船出现裂缝后沉了下去再也没有起来。
