其实我是因为在别的论坛看到这个帖子才想到要把这首歌搬出来给大家听，所以才去找的歌词。副歌部分的歌词已经很熟悉了，很简单的就在让我们相信：God is a girl。第一次听这首歌是高3那阵子，没法上网，不看电视，听收音机是个好消遣方式。
想那时，和好哥们一起用短消息方式混迹于一个电台，全省能听到节目地方的人都知道有两个快乐的高3学生和大家一起听着节目。可能这也是我选择这歌的纪念意义吧。那时候这歌在打榜，因为是一个德国乐队唱的，所以我特别关注了一下。不停发消息哄抬这首歌，又想办法去论坛给这歌投票，总之在那时候是造成了这歌在听众群中的小轰动，蝉联榜首多周。这点小得意就更让我不敢怠慢了这首歌。
当然，最重要的还是这歌的旋律和歌词了。那时候我还不大喜欢听复杂的音乐，这歌节奏明快，歌词表达十分清爽，加上德国乐队的“人和”，爱上是很容易的事。那阵子正信奉着一句话，上帝对每个人都是公平的。有关上帝的东西，特别能打动我。上帝是女孩，多么新鲜的一个说法，而歌词那么简单，让人不得不去相信。
