Eric Benet 这个名字其实该算是陌生，
不过若提到他是 Halle Berry 的前夫，相信大家应该会比较有印象 XD

撇开私生活沸沸腾腾的八卦风波，续99年获得金唱片认证的第二张专辑“A Day In The Life”后，
Eric Benet 自 Warner Bros. 跳槽同集团的 Reprise 唱片，发行了暌违六年的第三张专辑“Hurricane”。

前张专辑“A Day In The Life”有 Wyclef Jean、Brian A. Morgan 等人跨刀，新专辑“Hurricane”除了 Eric 及老班底 Demonte Posey、George Nash Jr. 外，
则找来了 David Foster、Walter Afanasieff 等共11位制作人，知名小喇叭手 Chris Botti 也参与专辑录制。

从制作人的阵容其实已大略看得出新专辑的主要曲风走向，相较于前两专辑较偏向 Urban R&B，“Hurricane”则走 Contemporary 路线，
整张专辑的歌曲曲风大都简朴清淡，没有复杂的编曲，甚至可说是 Acoustic。

像是民谣风情的“In The End”、Urban R&B 的“Pretty Baby”、带有 Funk 曲风的“Where Does The Love Go”…等。
David Foster 制作的专辑同名曲“Hurricane”是首 Acoustic 哀伤抒情曲，另一首“The Last Time”则是复古风情的爵士曲风。
而 Walter Afanasieff 制作的“My Prayer”、“Cracks Of My Broken Heart”则是 Walter A. 向来擅长的 Pop Ballad 曲。
