@AtelierGal I do, for the most part, agree with you. 3D is used more as a gimmick and perhaps it brings more people into theaters.
Don't get me wrong, I love Cirque du Soleil but the Criss Angel/Cirque show wasn't spectacular. "Love" on the other hand was phenomenal!

I feel the most famous magician didn't care much about the audience and the tricks he performed were so out of date. What happened?
If you ever go to Vegas and am thinking of watching the David Copperfield show, skip it. It was a major disappointment.

坦白說，我覺得最近3D的電影有點無聊。我認為傳統的2D就已經夠了，最重要的是故事而不是那些科技的東西。在音樂中最重要的也是旋律和故事，而不是唱歌或演奏的技巧。

到了美國才發現美國電視的受訊好清楚，品質很好，真清晰！內地和台灣的電視訊號真的很差！往往在台灣看電視發現畫面很模糊也有很多雜訊。。。

@uptowngal Haiti concert was not a pop concert. It was a relief benefit concert so the entire concept is different.
If we cut costs and do a mickey mouse job then we get flack and criticism from the consumer which perpetuates the vicious cycle.
I hope this helps in understanding the entire process of things. Everything costs money to produce.
Both of which need to be produced, edited and assembled and mixed to create a master. It's a production process and requires a budget.
@uptowngal The main problem is that the concert videos take a lot of money to produce. You have the video and the audio portion.

這些電影是拍給我們華人看的嗎？還是為了好買到國外的市場呢？我們自己一直拍這些類型的電影就像美國人一直不斷的拍西部牛仔電影，不是嗎？只是我這段時間一直在思考和“擔心”的一個問題。。。
我最近在思考一個東西，那就是華語電影工業還要繼續拍多少部關於中國史詩或歷史人物的片子？這幾年當中已經快要有接近二十部了吧？場面很類似，故事大部份也沒有很多創意，卡斯也往往是重複的。難道是廣眾一直要求想看這類型的電影嗎？這會不會也會造成一種惡性循環？
因此，No consumption = no market = no product (e.g., live concert DVD) = no diversity = no consumption. All this creates a vicious cycle.
在兩岸三地特別難經營因為華人對智慧財產特別的不了解和尊重。加上，我們又沒有一個很完善的收費機制造成目前的惡性循環。
不幸的是，現在大家連正版專輯都不太買了，何況是其他類型的產品，例如，演唱會DVD。不是公司或藝人不願意發行，而是真的沒有辦法recouperate這樣的投資。Intellectual property的這個business現在越來越難做因為很多人不懂得尊重智慧財產這個東西。

我問，“有三成四成的人嗎？” 他回答，“至少有一半以上的人還在！” 聽到這個我非常感動然後就立刻請Jacky幫我戴耳機準備上台。當然，那個時候我心理還在擔心上台要唱什麼呢？慶隆是否會記得如何彈奏？我又是否會記得歌詞呢？但還來不及想出結論我就已經上台了！
香港的double encore其實是我這輩子第一個。當時，我已經回到休息室了，準備要換衣服離開場地的，但是一直聽到外面觀眾的大聲呼叫。本來想可能只是一小群人，但是又覺得聲音聽起來很雄厚。我請經紀人出去看看到底有多少人，是否我們在後台有聽錯。他結果回來說外面還是有很多人！

其實前天在香港，為什麼大家沒有離開也是個我一直在想的問題。是因為很多人可能知道這是我這幾年以來最後的演出嗎？還是那天的氣氛真的很high? Still thinking about it...
有些場館沒有罰款這件事，例如香港的會展中心。但是紅館和很多內地的場館是有罰款，超時，和保安上的限制所以可能就想要double encore或延長演出都是問題的。希望大家可以見諒囉。。。

I'm not sure if it's subjective, 可能是我和Jim Lee都比較主觀吧，但我們是喜歡Live的演唱會低音bass要夠有震撼力。或許有些朋友會覺得太重，但這是我們在演唱會追求的東西。要有足夠bass and punch但人聲還是清楚。
eg., was the bass too powerful? Were my vocals distorted or not clear? Was the overall mix not balanced well or to your liking?
For those of you who thought the sound was not satisfactory, could you please give me specific comments on what was wrong?
Awful is a very strong word and I'm sure Jim Lee the FOH engineer as well as myself take it very personally.
For the very few who are commenting that it was "awful" may i ask...where are you sitting?
I'm hearing very extreme feedback about tonight's sound. I've personally walked around the venue to check the sound and it's not bad.

昨晚到了香港跟好朋友聚餐，既然有被狗仔跟蹤。。。真是讓我覺得噁心。我生生感受在香港做藝人特別的辛苦。你認為在台灣辛苦嗎？香港狗仔真是練了一身王八蛋級數高的功夫啊！一對中年男女坐在我們的桌子旁邊，一開始有說有笑的，好像一對情侶呢。一開始彼此拿著iphone互相拍照然後。。。

這些牌子很重要，但是亂用他們只會讓大家更混亂。要用的恰恰好才會達到他們的功能性。不知道是否大家有同感？
我一直覺得台北85%的地下停車場設計有很大問題。這種不“user friendly"的設計好像是一個華人的通病，因為很多有華人的地方都會出現這種類似的問題。你進入一個停車場就會發現很多不必要，過多的指示牌告訴你這裡是入口，這裡是電梯，這裡是繳費處，等等。。。可是他們只讓我們更亂！
其實我很喜歡冷的天氣，因為很有氣氛，冬天大家穿的衣服也可以比較多所以比較有型一點吧。長大衣，圍巾，高領毛衣，等。。。
很多城市都是冷的，可能只有新加坡那邊是熱的，哈哈！沒有冬天的新加坡。。。

我發現最近很多人都不敢說出他們的真心的話和感覺，好像大家都要所謂的“politically correct"。尤其是公眾人物，藝人。說錯了什麼就要被攻擊，放大，扭曲。這也是我認為blog和twitter很重要的原因。你可以直接表達你個人的想法，不用通過傳統媒體。
其實我沒有心情不好，所以大家不要誤會我的發洩。我只是希望可以多讓大家了解現在這個環境的生態而已。我覺得比狗仔還要可怕的是現在這個“全名狗仔”現象。大家好像都有責任做狗仔，在外面看到藝人就要通報或拍照片。這個是反應我們社會的水準和道德觀念有問題吧？
當我跟很多記者在訪問的時候，只要我聊到音樂的時候，他們就會把他們手中的筆放下來，停止寫字。但當你一開始聊八卦，私生活，感情世界他們就開始拿起筆寫字了。以後還須要做訪問了嗎？的確外面還是有好的記者和媒體，但我認為好記者和媒體已經是面臨絕種了。
為什麼會突然說起這個？因為最近常被記者聞到這些緋聞和偷拍事件所以我想分享一下我的感受。新加坡的媒體這次也有問到這些事情但他們的態度比較溫和，友善，所以我也比較樂意回答。當你想跟大家分享你對音樂或創作的想法的時候，但記者只想繞著八卦話題打轉，我心裡就冒出三八火。
常會有記者說他們身不由己，不想寫八卦，但又沒有辦法因為主管給他們壓力。這是什麼爛藉口？有人拿著槍對著你們的頭逼迫你寫那些垃圾嗎？如果有人問我為什麼要寫一些“芭樂”，沒有營養的音樂，我會說我是被市場，唱片公司強迫的嗎？你們是有選擇的，沒有人再強迫任何人。有種就辭職，不要幹了。

現在走路是跛腳的。。。明天如果我在台上不是那麼的跳躍請多多見諒。早上去急診，還好醫生說不用把右腳大拇指的指甲全部拿掉。掀開了三分之二但沒有全部脫離，所以醫生就把他調整回原位，非常的痛！Ouch! 看看照片吧。。。
Had a little accident today and detached 2/3's of my right big toe's nail...very painful...went to ER and the doc pushed it back...ouch!

第三天的彩排但還是好多東西須要進步。這次我90%都在彈吉他，所以除了唱之外還要顧著彈奏的部份。很有挑戰性，但同時也讓我非常的忙。但有不能看起來手忙腳亂的。說我不緊張是騙人的，沒有壓力是假的。但只能一點一點的蠻練和背熟。我想寫一點關於演唱會的概念和曲目，明天會放在blog上！

第一天彩排還蠻順利的！雖然蠻累的，但是有點開始興奮了。有點擔心我的左手是否能夠承受這幾天的彩排因為現在已經開始在痛了。白天還須要健身，握啞鈴所以對於手還蠻有挑戰性的。
今天開始演唱會的彩排，其實壓力蠻大的，希望大家會為我們所有的人祈禱。這是一個很不一樣的節目，對於我們也對於觀眾來說。他是在音樂上據有挑戰性的，所以我真的希望大家可以接受與喜歡。
"暗戀映像"的發行日，我目前也不確定，但應該蠻快的了，我想應該會是在這幾個禮拜。在我眼裡是個蠻超值和特別的產品，希望大家會喜歡他！
見到李安導演還真蠻緊張的，好像沒有這麼緊張過！我一直覺得好像不是真的，感覺像在做夢。遇見過那麼多人，可是沒有想到遇見自己的偶像真實令人肚子裏都是小蝴蝶。當導演在跟我分享他拍攝的想法和理念的時候，我一直在想。。。“我還有好多東西要學啊“。。。

@hkmarkjohn That song, in fact, was mixed in mono because I just didn't it sounded right in stereo. I struggled with that decision though..
