在我心目当中,Marvin Gaye早已经超越一个歌手或者是创作人那么简单,他代表着一种精神,一种爱和关怀的精神,尤其在What's going on这张传世经典专辑中的主打歌里,Marvin Gaye提出了对他周遭黑人兄弟生活困境的质问,到底是怎么回事??但是他并没有给出答案,他只是说出事实和真相,让大家用心用心中的爱去思考,去想,去解决.David的"Dear God"和这个概念有异曲同工之处.
